CASS
is the most influential research organization under the Chinese State
Council covering comprehensive studies ranging from social science and
philosophy to economic trends and developments. One of its important sections,
IWEP, is a globally renowned research institution which has made significant
contributions in the studies to the economic growth in China. Its major
task includes providing various departments of the Chinese Government
with analysis and reports on the key economic issues in China and overseas,
which serve as valuable decision-making reference for the upper echelons.
